In this paper Keall et al. (2015) present the HIPI study, where home modifications are at focus. This is a single-blind, cluster-randomised controlled trial where the safety benefits of home modifications are tested in 436 households and where 406 households are included as controls. Findings suggest that low-cost home modifications and repairs can be a means to reduce injury in the general population.
