In this paper Anne-Marie Hill et al. (2015) present a pragmatic, stepped-wedge, cluster-randomised controlled trial where education programmes in hospital rehabilitation units are delivered to patients in order to prevent falls. Findings suggest that individualized patient education programmes combined with training and feedback to staff may reduce the rates of falls and injurious falls in older patients in rehab hospital units.
