About Dawn McLean:
Since 2005, I have worked for Later Life Training (LLT) as a tutor assessor and quality assurance manager, delivering nationally endorsed training courses to exercise professionals and health professionals across the UK. I support the directors and office staff and also set up all our courses. My role includes training guidance and support for new tutors/assessors and also supporting our brilliant LLT tutor team who are based all over the UK. Prior to this I taught in Further Education.
I joined Nordic Walking UK in 2012 as a tutor/assessor and really enjoy teaching in the great outdoors. I also run three local Nordic Walking groups and it suits me perfectly as I really love walking and talking and meeting new people.
ProfouND Role:
As part of my LLT role, I shall be teaching on the cascade training delivery for WP5, which is headed up by the very lovely Professor Dawn Skelton and led (superbly) by my very funny friend and colleague Bex Townley who is a senior tutor for LLT. Bex and Dawn have been an amazing support in my development for this role and I am extremely excited and honoured to be a part of it. The three of us will work very hard but I know we will also have lots of fun. Europe here we come, I am looking forward to meeting you : )
