About Dawn Skelton:
I am a partner in the project as my part time post as Professor of Ageing and Health at Glasgow Caledonian University. In this role I work closely with WP2 and WP8 in dissemination and engagement of stakeholders. I am also WP5 Lead in my role as Director at Later Life Training. My main interests have been gathering the evidence base for effective falls prevention exercise and then the implementation and dissemination of the evidence so that we really make a difference to the lives of older people who fall. For example, in 2012, I co-hosted the World Congress on Active Ageing in Glasgow, which attracted 900 delegates from around the world and 300 older people from the UK. I live and work in Scotland.
