Each Year, Age UK (previously Help The Aged and Age Concern) have a dedicated Falls Awareness Week in June. In 2010 this week was devoted to “Best Foot Forward” – being physically active, taking care of your feet and footwear and maintaining strength and balance to reduce risk of falls. These packs detail risk factors, interventions and things people can do to reduce risk.
