About Inge Logghe:
I’m a teacher and researcher at an Academy of Applied Sciences in Health (Physical Therapy, Nursery and Health technology) in the South wests of the Netherlands.
In our curriculla we teach students about Active Ageing and fall prevention is one topic. Our research group has as overall topic how we can facilitate community-living older persons to stay indepently living at home with maintenance of a good quality of life and with assistance of technology and innovative products.
My PhD dissertation (2011) concerned fall prevention in community dwelling older people and the effects of Tai Chi.
My hobbies are running and gardening and I am a mother of two teenagers.
