This is a freely downloadable Swedish Otago home exercise booklet based on the Otago home exercise programme to prevent falls. Based on the Otago individualised, progressive home exercise programme (Campbell & Robertson, 1997, 2001 etc), produced by Later Life Training and translated into Swedish by MT International AB and adapted to Swedish conditions by Anders Edström, Memeologen, Västerbotten County and Lillemor Lundin Olsson, Prof in Physiotherapy, Umeå University.
It should be given as an additional home exercise programme in conjunction with a group based class, however, if there are no classes available then the older person can do these at home, with the aid of ankle weights.
