The European Academy of Nursing Science (EANS) is an independently organised body composed of individual members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of nursing science in Europe through scholarship and research. EANS holds an annual summer conference, a summer school for nurses undertaking PhDs in Europe and an annual scientific meeting each winter.
